The Planets Gustav Holsts Suite Essay Example For Students

The Planets Gustav Holsts Suite Essay Upon deciding what piece of music to write about it was very difficult to decide, since before taking this class the only classical musician I knew was Beethoven. However, I came across the planets. So I decided to give I try. It just took a play button, which transported me into a world of mystery. As the symphony started with mars I felt as though I was going in a space ship of those that came on the star wars saga. It as the song progressed it felt as though there was a battle in space. Listing to this while in the dark made it easier for me to see what was really happening. We will write a custom essay on The Planets Gustav Holsts Suite specifically for you for only $16.38 $13.9/page Order now I can see bullets fly by me closer and closer, until this bullet hit me and the ship pieces disperse into space as the song did too. There is a moment of silence when am awaken in to the world of lord of the rings. I see my self at the elves garden standing in the castles balcony looking at the roses. As the piece keeps going I see my black clouds covering the horizon, with darkness and mystery upon. For some reason there is a sense of peace even though at some parts it feels as thought there is a war about to start. This made me feel like this was countering, like they say after the storm the sun will come out. Next was mercury a dangerous. t first it felt as thought I was running away from someone or something. But it doesn’t feel like I’m running away from something dangerous. As the piece kept going I started to see why I was running, I was running like Bambi in the Disney movie. I can see birds and butterflies, flying on top of my head in circles. I started to run with the birds faster and faster making my war across a big green field. I don’t know why this image comes to my heard but as keep listening a can see a lot of animals running too. They are jumping across the green field. Jupiter starts and with it I start to remember my grandma back home. I can see her coming in from a long trip. I can see her coming closer to me bringing nothing but a smile to my face. As viola and baritones appear, I can imagine our reunite. This piece only brings image of happy ending, like those of Disney movies. I can see people throwing confetti to the sky, celebrating and parting. All this happiness is suddenly, wiped away, because with the start of Saturn. I hear something approaching me slowly and slowly. It is not a scary thing coming but it is a sense of realization. I see that the person coming is me but as an old man. I look frail and fragile. I see my self-walking slowly and for each step I take my steps become slower and slower. As the piece progresses, I start to hear bells. This piece just bring sadness into my head all I can think now is that for every day that passes by I am near the end. But the end of what? I don’t understand. As Saturn comes to the end I see the old me just standing there without moving. It seems as thought the end has come, like the suffering and everything happening in life has finally stop. Uranus stars and I can imagine a giant man walking along a giant sidewalk. In the sidewalk I can see a lot of soldiers marching. There is a feeling of mystery with the piccolo and clarinets. Neptune was the last piece. This was my favorite one because it had something that the rest of the other planets did not and that is a women chorus. This gives a feeling of going into heaven a reaching the divine one. .uf1f0d1fb3fa8082f741b6f8ca03afda7 , .uf1f0d1fb3fa8082f741b6f8ca03afda7 .postImageUrl , .uf1f0d1fb3fa8082f741b6f8ca03afda7 .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .uf1f0d1fb3fa8082f741b6f8ca03afda7 , .uf1f0d1fb3fa8082f741b6f8ca03afda7:hover , .uf1f0d1fb3fa8082f741b6f8ca03afda7:visited , .uf1f0d1fb3fa8082f741b6f8ca03afda7:active { border:0!important; } .uf1f0d1fb3fa8082f741b6f8ca03afda7 .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .uf1f0d1fb3fa8082f741b6f8ca03afda7 { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .uf1f0d1fb3fa8082f741b6f8ca03afda7:active , .uf1f0d1fb3fa8082f741b6f8ca03afda7:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .uf1f0d1fb3fa8082f741b6f8ca03afda7 .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .uf1f0d1fb3fa8082f741b6f8ca03afda7 .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .uf1f0d1fb3fa8082f741b6f8ca03afda7 .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .uf1f0d1fb3fa8082f741b6f8ca03afda7 .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .uf1f0d1fb3fa8082f741b6f8ca03afda7:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .uf1f0d1fb3fa8082f741b6f8ca03afda7 .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .uf1f0d1fb3fa8082f741b6f8ca03afda7 .uf1f0d1fb3fa8082f741b6f8ca03afda7-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .uf1f0d1fb3fa8082f741b6f8ca03afda7:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: Music downloading, illegal or not ? EssayI can see other people reaching to the heavens as well as the women chorus joins with the bells. The feeling of reaching the end of the symphony, is unforgettable the women chorus starts to become fade out slowly becoming fainter until there is a slight difference between silence and sound. I was left trilled after listening to this symphony. I never felt this way it was an amazing experience feeling as thought I was flying through the cosmos of the universe. However I wonder if there is Pluto. And if there is I’m guessing it would probably give images of unknown and mystery.

Free Essays on Sistine Chapel

The chapel was built between 1475 and 1483, in the time of Pope Sixtus IV della Rovere. A basic feature of the chapel itself, so obvious that it is sometimes ignored, is the papal function, as the pope's chapel and the location of the elections of new popes. Furthermore, the building was in some respects a personal monument to the Della Rovere family, since Sixtus IV saw to its actual construction and the frescoes beneath the vaults, and his nephew Julius II commissioned the ceiling decoration. Oak leaves and acorns abound, heraldic symbols of the family whose name means literally "from the oak." The Chapel is rectangular in shape and measures 40,93 meters long by 13,41 meters wide, i.e. the exact dimensions of the Temple of Solomon, as given in the Old Testament. It is 20,70 meters high and is surmounted by a shallow barrel vault with six tall windows cut into the long sides, forming a series of pendentives between them. A marble mosaic floor of exquisite workmanship describes the processional itinerary up to and beyond the marble screen, to the innermost space, where it offers a surround for the papal throne and the cardinals' seats. The architectural plans were made by Baccio Pontelli and the construction was supervised by Giovanino de'Dolci. The walls are divided into three orders by horizontal cornices; according to the decorative program, the lower of the three orders was to be painted with fictive "tapestries," the central one with two facing cycles - one relating the life of Moses (left wall) and the other the Life of Christ (right wall), starting from the end wall, where the altar fresco, painted by Perugino, depicted the Virgin of the Assumption, to whom the chapel was dedicated. The upper order is endowed with pilasters that support the pendentives of the vault. Above the upper cornice are situated the lunettes. Between each window below the lunettes, in fictive niches, run images of the first popes - from Peter to Marc... Free Essays on Sistine Chapel Free Essays on Sistine Chapel The Sistine Chapel was built in 1473 under Pope Sixtus. It is most famous for it’s beautiful decorations and artwork. There are different colored marble floor mosaics, which are well known, but the paintings on the walls and ceilings are the chapel’s most famous feature. Frescoes by many artists cover the walls depicting scenes from the lives of Moses and Christ. However the most famous achievements in the chapel are the artwork of Michelangelo. Across the ceilings he painted nine episodes from genesis that are representations of the stages of creation and man’s temptation and fall. Below these scenes are the scenes of figures and prophets with episodes from the Old Testament, all designed for the salvation of Christianity. The last great work in the chapel was Michelangelo’s Last Judgment on the altar wall. Over the following years the wall accumulated soot and animal glues from previous restorers. By 1980 cleaning and restoration of Michelangelo’s frescoes began. Before beginning the restoration, computers were used to map every single inch of the 2,732-square-foot ceiling. A huge movable scaffold was used to test the areas, much like the one Michelangelo used while painting. After all the testing was done, full restorations were in progress. The dull, dark ceilings of the Sistine chapel no longer exist. The vivid colors provide a new way of looking at Michelangelo’s work. It took restorers a total of fourteen years (from 1981 to 1995) to remove the centuries’ worth of grime and decay. The restoration of the chapel is often called the restoration of the century. But it was followed by much controversy. After restoration was completed many people argued and were upset, saying that the restorers had distorted and destroyed all of the frescoes. Some people even said that it has been ruined. They complained that Michelangelo had used a second coat of paint to soften the colors and that the restorer... Croygas Sports club Essay Example for Free

Croygas Sports club Essay Croygas Sports club has many roles and responsibilities that people have to fill. Here is a list of these roles and responsibilities of the personnel involved in the club:  President  A president is the title given to a person who is head of an organisation or company. The president at Croygas Sports Club is a figure head for the club, and shows up at different functions to represent the club.  Chairman  The chairman takes a more hands on role in the sport clubs day to day management. The chairman is the presiding officer of meetings, organisations and committee. Secretary  The secretary of this club performs routine and personal task tasks for a superior. The secretary performs duties such as typing, making tea, sending letters etc. The secretary will have to be very organised making sure that all the files and paperwork are kept neat and tidy.  Social Secretary  The social secretary organises and handles the personal details of clients; they are very similar to a personal assistant. This person will require strong communication skills because they will be communicating with people a lot and basic computer literacy because all there work is based on the computer. Treasurer  The treasurer is responsible for running the treasury. They are employed by organisations to look after the funds. The treasurer would oversee how the money is spent, making sure that they dont over or under spend.  Publicity Officer  The publicity officer is the key person in charge of publicising events and activities run by Croygas. This person is also responsible for the clubs policies and procedures e.g. the clubs policy on the welfare of children. The most important member of the club is the president. He is the founder of the club and has the biggest responsibility of looking after Croygas and making sure that everyone is doing their jobs properly. He also chooses to hire and fire staff, it is his decision how to use the money that the club raises and what to spend it on. He has a big impact on the club, because he has helped it to develop the club into a family orientated club that is currently highly successful in the football and cricket leagues. The chairman of Croygas has a more hands on role at the club. He has a big influence on the club and is always ever present in meetings and committees. He will be informed and up-to-date on all the information that is happening at the club and it his job to keep the president informed with this information. He will work with the president, deciding on future plans together and ways of improving the club. The secretary is just as important to the club as the president or the chairman. She has to sort out all the paper wok into files making sure that it is all organised and easy to access. A lot of the work the secretary does doesnt get seen, they do things like answering the phones, writing and sending out letters, organise things such as quiz nights and fixtures etc. The secretary is the main organiser at the club and plays a vital role in making the club successful, without the secretary, there would be nobody to organise paper work and keep files etc. The treasurer deals with the financial side of the business. They have a lot of control over the money and how the money is pumped into the club. The treasurer has a lot of work to do with things like organising fund raising activities, sponsorship, match and sub fees etc. There is a lot of organising to do and the president relies on the treasurers advice to decide what to spend the clubs money on.  The social secretary and the publicity officer both play similar roles as the secretary; they deal more with organising events to help raise money, and not so much paper work as the secretary. There are a number of problems that a club faces, and they would have to devise an action plan to improve the operation of the club. These problems include relegation. If a team is relegated from the Premier League to the Championship, then they will lose money in a number of different ways. Firstly the stadium wont have as many fans coming to watch the games because they are of lower standard and they want to see the best teams play, therefore they will lose money because they arent getting the same gate receipts as the previous season. Some of the best players in the relegated team might attract interest from bigger teams, and the chances are that these players will want a move away from the relegated team because they want to play at the highest standard possible. Also teams will find it hard to reject a respectable offer for their best player, because they need the money to help with the finances, and because of the loss of money due to relegation, the club might not be able to afford the wages that these players are earning, so they might be forced to leave the club that can pay the wages of the players. Relegation can give clubs a problem regarding money from television companies such as Sky Sports and the BBC, the teams wont be shown on the television and will lose money because of this. Teams that are in the Premier League receive a lot of money from these companies so that they can go television.

Death of a Salesman :: essays research papers

The Battle Between Society and its Members The playwright Arthur Miller once insisted that any great play must deal with the question, "How may a man make of the outside world, a home." It was his belief that the most tragic issue which one could document was the embittered battle between society and the individuals which it was supposed to protect and nourish. Contrasting forms of this topic are well evidenced through his works, especially the plays All My Sons and Death of a Salesman. Both of these plays archive a day or so in the lives of the Keller and Loman families’ respectively. While the climax of both these plays lies in the present, invariably most of the major action takes place in the past. Events are revealed throughout the course of the play that further complicate a seemingly straightforward issue. However, Miller attempts to answer his essential question of, "How does a man adapt to the society in which he lives" in two very different ways, both of which represented in each play by the fathers of both families. In All my Sons we are introduced to the seemingly kind-hearted Joe Keller, a man who has refused society’s dominion over him, and has attempted to put his own family’s well being above all else. In contrast, Death of a Salesman portryas Willy Loman as quite the opposite; Willy has completely succumbed to society’s will, and is trying to forge a life for him and his family in the way he believes society preaches success. Disturbingly enough, even though both men are sundry to the core and would never be friends had they met, their divergent strategies towards living within society deals them parallel fates. Joe Keller embodied Arthur Miller’s first attempt at answering his own question about how a man can successfully live in society, and perhaps for the most part, Joe is a success. He lives in a nice neighborhood with his family and friends, as well as owning a good company which he wishes to leave to his son Chris. He has made a good living looking out for number one, and concentrating on the well being of his family. However, it is revealed through the course of the play that in his haste and greed to support his family’s living, he had not built certain engine parts correctly, which were supposed to be shipped out to the air force for fighting in World War 2.

Living Together

People all over the U. S struggle in deciding whether they should or should not move in together before marriage. I believe that especially young people moving in together before marriage cannot be helpful because they become unsatisfied with marriage; they can have a higher risk of divorce, and they can also have frequent arguments and disagreements. People can become unsatisfied with marriage because they are living together before marriage. Living together seems reasonable, but then marriage does not seem like it is anything special or anything that needs to happen. They become satisfied with what they share and compromise themselves to what they are already sharing. Marriage may not seem like a significant thing it may seem like an ordinary thing. In reality marriage is a very important and significant thing and it is something that should viewed as something special and not just seemed as something that does not matter. Moving in with someone is a very important commitment that i s being made with one another and should be very a well-thought decision to make.Unmarried people that move in together run a higher risk of divorce, because they have experienced what it is to be living with one another without commitments and actually knowing what it is to have an actual stable home. Unmarried people living together have different expectations of what it is to live together, such as: doing whatever they want and their stuff belongs to them, rather than in a marriage it is a thing called â€Å"team work† something that they have not experienced because they are so accustomed to what they already had coming and going as you please. In my personal opinion divorce is not an option and moving in with someone before marriage should be very carefully thought and discussed there is a lot in between may seem like there is not but there is. Frequent arguments and disagreements can start to occur. Men and women who have lived together before marriage are likely to beco me more disrespectful and verbally aggressive; they can become less supportive of one another also have more arguments about one another and also arguments about finances. They become to have lower levels of fairness and happiness with their relationship.Rather then if they would wait to move in together before marriage they would be a lot more capable to manage these situations and have something more stable and avoiding all these conflicts. Living together does not produce healthy and happier lives on the contrary. Love is built on maturity and security of knowing that your love is exclusive and permanent. Couples that are living together think that marriage is nothing and if they did get married it would be exactly the same, but what they don’t understand is what marriage does to a couple both positively and negatively. In my opinion the chance of divorce after living together are huge, and much higher than couples that have not lived together. Unmarried people living toget her say that they first want to see what it is to live with each other before that, well then they really weren’t committed to each other. In other words, you wanted to see what married life was going to be like before making a commitment of marriage. I believe that marriage adds a whole different dimension to your relationship and that people take that for granted.Moving in with someone before marriage should not be the determining factor of your relationship there is plenty of time to figure out if you are compatible with one another. Habits are hard to break and couples that live together get in to the habit of not willing to make a lifetime commitment to each other they have compromised with what they already have. So many problems that people struggle with all over the U. S could be avoided if people would really think it through and not just move in together before marriage.Disagreements would minimize a lot more because they would be on the same page. I am not saying w e are perfect but saying that it would be held with maturity. They would not be part of that statistics of divorce rates and be able to have a stable home. Also not becoming unsatisfied with your marriage but working together to produce a safe and productive environment. Maturity is held to be able to take this step and should not be disvalued.

Heart and Conscience in Mark Twain’s “Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” Essay

Mark Twain considered his novel â€Å"Adventures of Huckleberry Finn† as â€Å"a book of mine where a sound heart and a deformed conscience come into collision and conscience suffers defeat.†Ã‚   This claim is valid, as the story showed the title character in several situations wherein he was bothered by his conscience yet he chose to act according to his emotions.   Indeed, the book â€Å"Adventures of Huckleberry Finn† exhibits the triumph of the heart over a conscience. In the book, there are three major instances wherein there was conflict between the heart and the conscience.   In these situations, the conflict was caused by the issue of slavery as Huck was often forced to choose between his heart and conscience when it came to matters concerning the black slave Jim. The first instance is found in Chapter XVI, when Huck was disturbed by his conscience about assisting Jim in his escape.   Huck was deeply bothered by the fact that while he was not responsible for the escape itself, he did not do anything to prevent it.   He was most concerned about Miss Watson, who was Jim’s owner.   Huck is guilty because he let her slave run away from her when she was nothing but nice to him.   In the beginning, it seemed like his conscience has won because he finally resolved to disclose Jim’s whereabouts. However, he changed his mind at the last minute.   Jim called Huck his only friend and the only white man who kept his promise.   Huck said, â€Å"I was paddling off, all in a sweat to tell on him; but when he says this, it seemed to kind of take the tuck all out of me† (Twain).   Jim’s words appealed to Huck’s emotions, and the latter’s feelings prevented him from doing what his conscience told him to do.   Hence, the heart succeeds over the conscience for the first time. The second instance again finds Huck struggling between telling others about Jim and keeping his escape a secret.   The conflict between the heart and conscience continues in Chapter XVI as Huck encounters a boat with two men in search of escaped slaves.   The men asked Huck if the man he was with was white or black. Huck clearly wanted to expose Jim as his conscience intended him to do, but he ended up lying to hide the slave.   After the men left, Huck mused: â€Å"s’pose you’d a done right and give Jim up, would you feel better than what you do now? No, says I, I’d feel bad† (Twain).   In the end, it became obvious that Huck’s decision was a result of his feelings.   He did not choose to do the right thing because he would feel bad about it.   Again, the heart prevails over the conscience. The third and last instance in Chapter XXXI proved to be the most significant, as Huck finally gave up listening to his conscience and resolved to follow his heart.   Because he had been bothered by conscience for awhile, Huck decided to do what he thought was right and write a letter telling Miss Watson of Jim’s whereabouts. After he wrote the letter, Huck thought of Jim’s kindness towards him.   As he held the paper, Huck said: â€Å"I was a-trembling, because I’d got to decide, forever, betwixt two things, and I knowed it† (Twain).   In the end, Huck tore up the letter and even considered liberating Jim from slavery in the future.   Huck said, â€Å"All right, then, I’ll GO to hell!† (Twain).   The conscience dictates that it was a sin to keep a slave away from its owner.   However, Huck preferred to sin and go to hell rather than betray his friend.   Thus, the heart finally wins over the conscience. In Mark Twain’s â€Å"Adventures of Huckleberry Finn,† there exists the conflict between the heart and the conscience.   In three instances in the story, the title character disregards his conscience by letting his emotions influence his decisions.   In the end, the heart is victorious over the conscience as Huck chose the former to dictate his actions. Outsourcing Risks essays

Outsourcing Risks essays The topic of jobs and economy can be a very complicated subject to talk about especially in reference to presidential candidates and their views. One important factor in accordance with the economy seems to be the corporate outsourcing of American jobs. It is an interesting topic because it affects a sizable amount of the population in the country. It is also hard to achieve a clear understanding of what each candidate plans to do and how they hope to accomplish the goal. With that being said, who does corporate outsourcing affect and why? Should the outsourcing be legal or even as beneficiary to the big businesses that take advantage of it? Where do the presidential nominees stand when it comes to the outsourcing in America? Because outsourcing not only affects a plethora of Americans and their jobs, but also allows big businesses to take advantage of the governments policies and laws, John Kerry has a plausible plan of action to end the transfer of jobs overseas by eliminating the benefits of outsourcing. Currently, the corporate outsourcing of job overseas affects a large amount of the IT specialist population but could be spreading to other fields in the future. According to Forrester Research Inc., rough estimates suggest that the United States has lost 400,000 to 500,000 information-technology-processing jobs to outsourcing over the last few years. This is a small number in an economy that employs around 130 million workers, but outsourcing is moving quickly up the wage-skill chain from call-center employees to software engineers, medical specialists, lawyers, and financial analysts. Originally, the jobs that were being outsourced were manufacturing and warehousing jobs. Presently, the corporations involved in outsourcing are growing by the numbers but why? The first and most obvious reason for outsourcing is money. Businesses can fall into international tax loop holes that can save them bundles. Aside from that, acquiring la...

Gold Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 750 words

Gold - Essay Example Gold’s actual discovery remains only known to the ancients (Mineral Zone, 1). Gold is the seventy ninth element on the periodic table and it has symbol AU which is derived from the Latin word â€Å"Aurum† which means shining dawn. â€Å"It occurs mostly in the native state, remaining chemically uncombined except with selenium, tellurium and possibly bismuth. The elements only naturally occurring isotope is gold-197† (Gold.yabz, 1). Deposit of gold with high amounts of gold: hydrothermal veins, where it is associated with pyrite (fools gold) and quartz; and consolidated and unconsolidated placer deposits that are derived from the weathering of gold-bearing rocks. Gold is considerably associated with differential amounts of silver; with electrum being the most common and naturally occurring gold-silver alloy, with trace amounts of copper and other metals. Geographically electrum is found in Western Anatolia, present day Turkey (Gold.yabz, 1). Occurrence of gold-bearing rocks rich in it, is unusual, which is to say gold ores are not so (common. In seawater gold occurs to the extent of 5 to 250 parts by weight to 100 million parts of water. Presently gold quantity of gold in seawater is estimated to be 9 billion metric tons. Its deposits are widespread in low concentrations all over the continents. Gold deposits are found in two types; lode deposits which is mined through conventional mining methods and placer deposits found along stream beds caused by the erosion of the lode deposits. Its abundance is estimated to vary in concentrations in igneous rocks on the continent varying between .001 to 0.004 ppm. Since discovery, 165,000 tons of it has been mined. Gold is commonly used in ornaments and jewellery (USGS, 1). This is because the metal is highly malleable as it can form very thin sheet of about 0.000005 inches in size, so it served the purpose. Additionally as it is a noble metal, it

Global Warming. What Are the Human Behaviors which Hasten Global Essay

Global Warming. What Are the Human Behaviors which Hasten Global Warming - Essay Example Digging out the earth’s resources such as coal, gas and oil also leads burning of fossil fuels which again release one the of greenhouse gases CO. Cutting forests and grass lands and converting them into a living place and use it for farming means letting the stored amounts of carbon enter the atmosphere. This is because those plants stores carbon and cutting down means releasing more and more carbon. This is known as deforestation. Methane is another harmful green house gas which is hundred times more powerful than carbon. Methane is basically is found underwater especially when digging out fossil fuels, landfill and leakage of natural gas. Also, methane is found in the intestines of herbivorous animals so, more live stock means more manure and more manure leads to release of methane. It is also used as the fertilizer in cropping. Another source of methane is gas consuming car which are getting more in use these days. Population is another cause of global warming which means more people requires more food and use of more transportation. Cars burns fossil fuel by consuming oil where as to provide food to such a large population agriculture is a must. In twentieth century farmers started using more chemical fertilizers and machines. These chemical fertilizers are the cause of the development of nitrogen.... (Manoj Kumar, A Cooler Climate) Crake’s decision: Crake’s intentions behind creating the hominids are right as the world really seems to be environmentally devastated and corporation controlled in future. The scientists will keep on experimenting on human without checking it and directly use for genetic treatment which is becoming a threat to the survival of humanity. According to Crake they just want to earn profits and interest without giving a thought to the consequences which will occur to those human beings. Nowadays, in world such is happening. Nuclear weapons are so devastating and bio-products are so dangerous for the survival of human beings. Technology on the other hand is invented for the ease of human but it is used as a tool to earn profits. This world consists of so many problems like pollution, global warming, many pandemic diseases, and war like situation, socio-economic issues. Crake created hominids in order to make this world peaceful and environment friendly creature that loves nature and does not harm each other and there are no such catastrophes. ( Bouson, Bloom, Lin) The culture of violence and pornography is also troubling the world and it is because of the misuse of internet.
